Fine art prints for home or office decor are available of any image in my nature photography gallery. I have supplied wall sized prints (sizes such as 20x30, 30x45, and 40x60 inches) for use in hospitals, corporate lobbies and conference rooms, and hotels.
You will find a variety of nature themed photographs on this site. My gallery is organized by subject matter, but you can also search by keywords, colors, themes and ideas. For a more artistic piece, please consider some of my rock abstracts that can have universal application to a wide variety of settings and decors. These primordial ancient landscapes can reveal something new with each study.
I welcome inquiries from art consultants and interior designers. Pricing for prints 16x24 and under are shown using the drop down options in my gallery. Larger print quotes and large images on canvas are available upon request. I do offer matting of prints (8 ply, gallery white) generally up to a 16x20 outside frame dimension. Please contact me via email or you can call 586.215.2512. All work is 100% guaranteed for satisfaction and quality. I hope you will find imagery that will fit your needs.
It is very easy to order! Each thumbnail in the gallery is linked to a larger image. Click the thumbnail. Underneath the larger image is a drop-down menu of print options. Select the option/size you wish to order, and click the ADD button to add the print to your shopping cart.
* If the size or option you want isn't listed in the dropdown, an electronic invoice can be sent to you to pay via credit card or e-check. Written checks also accepted (payable to Graf Photography), but must clear for the order to be shipped.
If you are trying to decide between multiple images, consider using the LIGHTBOX feature. By selecting the ADD TO LIGHTBOX link underneath each larger view, it places that image "on the lightbox." Then when you click the LIGHTBOX menu option (button list at the left in the gallery)), all of the images you are interested in show up in this one place.
Please refer to our customer testimonials page to read about others' great experiences with us. Consult the VIEWING NOTES for this site to make sure you are seeing an accurate representation of the image. If you are buying a print, please also note the lighting recommendation panel below.

All prints are made to order. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for print delivery, or inquire if faster delivery is possible. Prints larger than 16x24 or orders with many prints may take some extra time. Extra shipping charges may apply to international orders above the standard shopping cart total. Prints sizes up to 20x30 are shipped flat. Larger sizes are shipped rolled. Payments are processed by Paypal - an easy, safe way to purchase online without providing your credit card number to multiple merchants.
When prints are ordered with the matting option, GALLERY WHITE, 100% cotton rag, 8 PLY archival mat is the type of mat used. I use 8-PLY mats because I think their dramatic depth gives a piece a simple yet elegant, gallery look. (Standard mats are 4-ply) Photographs larger than 6x9 are dry-mounted to insure flatness under varying temperature and humidity conditions. (No wavy prints!) Colored mats are not offered because it is impossible to offer the complete range of colors available in a color-accurate, web presentation. This is best done at your local framer. If you have specific mat colors in mind for your decor, I recommend purchasing the print only and selecting the mat color in person at a framer or store.
Prints up to 16x24 can be ordered directly in the gallery. Larger prints are available (20x30, 24x36, 30x45, 40x60 inches), but are special order. Please contact me via email to inquire about these sizes and latest pricing.
Images on this site are created from original photographs on fine-grained film to digital masters, and offered as 'pigment on paper' artwork. Only the finest quality, fine-art, archival papers are used in combination with Ultrachrome pigments (up to 16x24) or using Chromira/Lightjet/Ultrachrome processing (larger sizes).
The print sizes offered are proportional to the original dimensions of the image as composed in the viewfinder, or post-processing cropping. Therefore you won't see some of the "standard" sizes like 8x10 because it crops too much of the original shot for a 2:3 aspect ratio image (35mm film, DSLR sensors). A proportional enlargement near this size would be 6x9 or 8x12. So you can see an 8x10 "standard size" would need 2 inches cropped off one end to fit some standard dimension, which is an unacceptable compromise for most of my images. Some dimensions may vary slightly depending on the proportions of the final image displayed (panoramics, square crops, etc.) Prints are also made with white borders for handling purposes and artwork information text. For prints 20x30 and larger - actual image size is slightly less than the 'print size.'
Just because the image is not a standard size doesn't mean you need a custom frame. Mats are easily cut for a window to fit the image, with the outside dimensions fitting a standard frame size. This is how I offer my matted prints.
Some images (very few) may have had some cropping from the original, or started from a modest resolution file, which may limit going to very large print sizes. These sizes are defined as beyond 16x24. For this reason, we ask that you email us for larger prints so we can assure the image you have chosen will provide a quality enlargement. As always, every print order is 100% guaranteed. Prints can be ordered directly through the gallery or by sending an email if the size you want isn't listed.
Some surprising results can be obtained from rather small files (see the article print dogmas ). But to be certain, we ask this as a double check only for very large prints (larger than 16x24). You can use the form below for your convenience.
I have thought long and hard about the question of 'what kind of print' is it that I create, and the only term that makes sense to me, that seems in line with the art form itself, is to label my prints as 'pigment on paper.' Similar to terms like 'oil on canvas' or 'charcoal on ricepaper', it provides a descriptive term for the media used in the creation of the physical piece of work. Pigment inks in combination with the finest quality fine art papers simply provide an indication of quality above and beyond terminology like "photograph" or "photographic print" because such terms can vary wildly in the types of materials used to produce them. Below are some particular details behind the technology of my prints;
UltraChrome Prints
The fine art prints I offer are from high resolution scans of 35mm slides or digital originals using either pigment based UltraChrome inks or Lightjet and equivalents. Prints up to 16x24 are Ultrachrome. Both processes offer superior color vibrancy and archival longevity in excess of 60 years or more under normal room display conditions. UltraChrome is a new technological breakthrough in creating high-gamut, color pigment inks that have consistent appearance under different lighting conditions, as well as outstanding longevity and stability. They are specifically suited for exhibitions, museum, and gallery displays. On certain cotton rag matte papers, longevity is estimated to be in excess of 100 years! For artwork reference, we label these 'pigment on paper.' Only the finest quality, fine art papers are used for longevity, sharpness, and color fidelity. Generally we only use a matte finish for our prints. As they are expected to be framed, under glass - the matte finish eliminates any possible surface reflections from the lighting in your room. (Please also see the LIGHTING RECOMMENDATIONS section to get the most enjoyment from your print)
lightjet and chromira
Lightjet prints are created using a combination of red, blue, and green lasers to expose the image on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Chromira is a Digital Enlarger that exposes type C photographic paper with LEDs. The photo paper is then processed in RA-4 chemistry, creating a continuous-tone, true photographic print. Both processes yield fine art prints that exceed the quality, repeatability and longevity of traditional, chemical darkroom Ilfochrome (Cibachrome), Type C, and Type R prints. These processes are typically used for 20x30 and 24x36 sizes, although I am always researching the best possible process to produce larger prints. As new papers and technologies are developed, they will certainly be utilized for my work.
Your purchase is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your print, simply return it in its original packaging and you will get your money back. If you are not happy, I am not happy.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of using quality lighting for your prints, or any other art work for that matter. While most prints will look great in well lit rooms - using lights like recommended here will change that 'great' into a jaw-dropping "WOW!" The difference can be as dramatic as night and day. While not everyone can have a gallery-like environment in their homes, offices, and other settings - a little knowledge, and relatively small investment can provide you with greater enjoyment and appreciation of your purchase. To get the most enjoyment from the prints that I offer, I recommend lighting them with a fixture that utilizes a full spectrum SoLux 3500K bulb.
SoLux is widely known for their extensive work with museums like Memorial Art Gallery in New York, The George Eastman house, and the Van Gogh museum. When you have statements from curators of a Van Gogh exhibit stating how a light bulb has revealed new details in some of the most famous paintings, that alone is worth trying to see the difference for yourself. I have no connection with SoLux other than the fact I have their bulbs in the track lights in my own home based upon recommendations from several professional photographers that are experts in the area of fine art printing. The halogen bulbs that I previously had in these lights were standard, off the shelf, home improvement store bulbs. Replacing them with SoLux bulbs was simply one of the best decisions I have ever made, revealing colors and details that even I didn't see before in my own prints on my own walls.
There is a HUGE amount of material available on SoLux's website ranging from psychological studies, to biological information on our perceptions of light, to all the technical details you could ever dream of. They practically offer a degree in lighting with all of the material there. It can take awhile to sort through it all with how their site is organized, but it is well worth the time. So check it out, and try some of their lights - you will not be sorry.
