Textured Maple in Spruce

This image is a composite of a photograph with a textured surface and layered within Photoshop. I was simply playing in the the digital darkroom with the possibilities of layers and masking and exploring their interactions with each other. Textured photographs have always had an appeal to my eye, and I am sure I will be exploring more possibilities with it in the future.
