Lest we forget what it is like to live in Michigan. Over the past few weeks we have seen the flowers spring to life, the forests begin to turn green again, birds singing everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the D2X handled the color of hepatica. A few images have been uploaded to the gallery. Typically when I was shooting film, this flower could give me problems as far as accurate color rendition. A warming filter or specific film types could throw the flowers into looking from very blue to very magenta. The D2X handled the color with excellent accuracy – little to no adjustments were made in post-processing.
