Do you worry about it showing up sites, or on sites, that you might not want to be associated with? I see even with Google ads, etc, NSN often still gets some kind of porn sites advertised on the bottom of their forums. I've recently joined a few, myself. Yesterday my blog was #1 in the art section of "Top of Blogs" (today it's #3.) Stop by my blog at some point & scroll down toward the bottom--you'll see a few of my directory buttons (w/links to the sites.) I prefer that style, as they're less obtrusive.
