Just an image for this post, not much else. This is a rendering of an image I made not long ago where I wanted to add further simplicity to a very cluttered scene. The end result – Indian Paintbrush looking rather … painterly.

I’ve had some painterly effects in some of my own images, but nothing like this. This is phenomenal. It’s amazing what you can get a camera to do these days.
Very nice. ‘Semi-impressionist’. The glow of the paintbrush blossoms really grabs the eye. Well done Mark.
Really lovely, Mark!
That is wonderful Mark – dreamy!
A fantastic photograph, Mark!
You did real well here and I am sure it looks awesome on print.
Best Wishes

Thanks guys.
Well, I sure wouldn’t be one to cast a dissenting vote! Very nice!
Thank you Paul.
I am really digging your latest work, Mark. This is awesome!
Thanks very much Richard.
I usually prefer straight photography, but experiment some with other methods too. I have been working with various degrees of soft focus and flowers. Here you used just the right amount of soft focus to produce very beautiful results, besides, Indian Paintbrush is one of my favorites.
I often go off trail when I feel the urge!
I’m new to this site and to your work, but this piece (it’s as far as I’ve gotten) is absolutely stunning. A beautiful capture and post process work.
Thanks Daniel, I appreciate the feedback – and welcome!
Hey Mark
Sorry, I’ve not had much time to browse lately. This is awesome man. I’ll look over your blog again in more detail after I get thru the summer. Killer photo.
Cheers
