Black and White Nature Photography
Fine art nature prints, landscapes in monochrome, selective color, and warmed-toned imagery“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” ~ Ansel Adams
Fine Art Nature, Landscape, Macro Photography Prints / Wall Art & Licensing
While some may view black and white photography as inherently more “artistic”, I view it more in a sense of what the particular photograph “wants to be.” This isn’t always obvious, as it isn’t the way humans see the world. Color can be a distraction. Since we have such strong emotional reactions to color, other more subtle details, and tones of a photograph become overpowered. This is when the world of black and white photography sings loudest.
