Wolf Pictures
Gray wolf photos in winter, autumn, portraits and pack life“We have doomed the wolf not for what it is, but for what we deliberately and mistakenly perceive it to be — the mythological epitome of a savage, ruthless killer — which is, in reality, no more than the reflected image of ourself.” ~ Farley Mowat
Fine Art Nature, Landscape, Macro Photography Prints / Wall Art & Licensing
Gray wolves (Canis lupus), also known as Timberwolves, are the largest of their canine family. Wolves form intricate social groups, hunt in packs, and require our diligent attention for their protection as apex predators. They are a vital contributor to the natural balance in many ecosystems. Visiting these majestic, shy animals in a preserve allowed for close views not normally possible in a completely wild setting.
