Aurora Predictions – Custom longitude maps for your location

Recent sunspot activity has excited a lot of people because the Aurora Borealis is being seen in states as far south as NC and Alabama. This link is to a site that gives you a bit of a prediction on if you should be able to see it in your area.

Last night was supposed to be good for SE Michigan. Despite being ready to go out and photograph at 11:30 pm, cloud cover suddenly rolled in spoiling the opportuntity. The entire evening was perfectly clear! Supposedly the night before was very nice 🙁
