I just watched this discussion panel this evening with President Obama, Climate Scientist Katherine Hayhoe, and Leonardo DiCaprio that was a very thoughtful and intelligent discussion on the challenges we are facing with our planet.    I follow a lot of different nature photographers, and am always surprised at how few of them post on and promote action on climate change.   One that I engaged with on why said “it wasn’t good for business, too political.”   Well, I’ll tell ya what workshop guys and gals, a faltering planet isn’t good for the nature photography business either.    Your clients that fault you for it aren’t worth keeping.  Both of the below segments aren’t your 30 second cat video snippets, they require about an hour each of your time.   Time well invested in my opinion when our elected leaders need to be judged by this most pressing issue of our time.

If you aren’t familiar with VICE, I would say it is one of the best investigative journalism shows out there.  Well worth checking out other episodes, but their segments on changes going on right now with respect to climate change are well done.

Thanks for sharing the link, Mark. I did enjoy listening to it and thought the POTUS did a good job. I want to see that video next.

Hi Linda, I imagine everyone could, but key to start with education.

Thanks for letting me know about the like button. Doesn’t work for me either. I’ll have to look to see if there is a plugin update that fixes it.

Thank you for this encouragement, Mark. I could do better on this score. BTW, I don’t seem to be able to enter a “Like” here. Is the problem on my end?
