In honor of 2022-02-22 or 22-02-2022 but certainly not the bizarre order of 02-22-2022 (apparently we Americans don’t do metric and we can’t get our dates in a logical order like the rest of the world), published at 22:22 ET – here are some photographs celebrating the number two, because some things are better in pairs :

Fusion Series

The Fusion Series is a pairing of my fondness for playing with multiple exposures with the aspects of connectivity in nature. With spring wildflower season well underway, it is important to remember a wildflower doesn't exist in isolation. It is a product of the soil...

Elementals

My mind is and has been, toying with a concept for quite a long time now. It is difficult to put in words, let alone imagery. It is the concept of the dynamic dichotomy that exists around us with destruction vs. protection, life vs. death, forest vs. trees, assembly...

So how does the saying go?  Something about idle minds becomming the devil's playground?   The urge to create something different has been tumbling around in my head for quite awhile.   My Lightroom catalog is filled with a lot of dead ends and half-baked ideas.  ...

This post brought on a smile to my face. I do not have the keyword of two. I may have to think about that. Great way to start my day.

    • Mark

Well, I don’t know how long we have to wait for another such day/year/time alignment comes. I think you have a bit to work on those keywords. 🙂

Congrats, Mark! The significance of the date escaped me. Lovely photos! Some, I believe, came from your archives. Did you have them keyworded/tagged as twos? ?

    • Mark

Yes they have keywords of two or pairs making it a bit easier to find.

      • Earl

Excellent. You’re much more meticulous to keywording than I am.

Ha! I love it. I wish I’d have had that idea! 🙂 What a nice variety of photos. Thanks for the smile! The red trillium is particularly nice.

        • Mark

          Ha. The military does.
