Working on this photograph today brought all sorts of thoughts into my head. First, it was – this was a cool place, I should go back there. Then I think – wait – I made this exposure 9 years ago, and am only getting to it now. Shouldn’t I catch up with my backlog first? Then the doubter comes in – what are the chances you’ll have skies like this or the little area of sun in the distance lighting the trees, or the leaves, or the …

Then the logical side kicks in. Autumn colors are only going to be around for a short while – you can work the backlog when all the leaves have dropped. You won’t know if you don’t go. (I should probably write that on a Post-It note as a mantra)

Conclusion: I should go back there. 🙂 Glad we had this talk.

I’m voting with Earl; Go, Revisit! I’m glad we had this talk, also! Love the photo!!!

Beautiful photo. I love ‘I won’t know if I don’t go’. Should be a photographers official mantra! That said, I’m more than guilty of remaining in the dark.

After considerable conversation and then putting it up for a vote, we “all” agree that it looks like a place that would be worth revisiting! ?

Excellent job on the photo; it’s striking for many reasons.

It’s good to have group input into that decision Earl – thanks — haha. (I don’t know why emoji’s have such an issue in comments with WP) I’ll make it a priority.
